The Tournament Handicap Index is used to determine tee box assignments for those tournaments that use tee box assignments. For any designated tee box tournaments, you will not have the option to choose your tee. You will use the tee box assigned to you according to your USGA handicap index. Your course handicap will then be determined from the designated tee box.
